I know Green made a good save after his mistake, but at this level, those kinds of mistakes just shouldn't happen. He has had his chance and i think James (injury problems still trouble him) or Hart should be put into the team. I've never really seen Green as an international class keeper anyway. As for Johnson, yes he was good. But the England defence as whole had very little to cope with, as USA are a limited team going forward. I have my fears about Johnson being caught out defensively against the better teams.

I think Capello needs to stick with Green. He needs to get his confidence back up and the match against Algeria is the perfect game in which to do that. If he makes a similar error in that one, then by all means he should be dropped - but let's not judge the man after one isolated error.

Also, I think a mention in your report should be given to Glen Johnson - he was easily the best player in a white shirt that evening.

I feel that Little Paddy, in the English media, has been misinterpreted as he said they were an irritant and it caused problems, but not that they must be banned.
We wouldn't like it if half foreigners came in to our culture and told us how to and how not to support our teams and create atmosphere. It's incredibly annoying really but let's face it, the African game is all about carnival and celebration - they don't have the matchday chants and wit of the English game.

Let's accept it as part of what South Africa 2010 offers and remember that we may well prefer it to the rather bland atmosphere of Japan/Korea 2002 and the well organised but ultimately uninspiring Germany 2006.

If this is how they choose to support, accept it and hope that they never lose their enthusiasm that sets an example to us all.

Now the players are revolting, Gallas has thrown his toys out of the pram and the players are split over whether Henry should start instead of Govou, who actually plays regular football. Some apparently feel that ABOU DIABY should replace Yoann Gourcuff, the man who can do this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdVzzvMEG08
